Charles Martin Death| Has Died: Charles R. Martin, 89, of Springfield, kicked the bucket at 6:40 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at his home.
Charles was brought into the world on November 27, 1931 in Springfield, the child of Charles F. furthermore, Flora Sehy Martin. He wedded Mary Rose Gadert on September 2, 1961 in Springfield.
Charles was an alum of Cathedral Boys High School and went to DeVry Technical School. He served his country in the United States Navy. Charles resigned from Ameritech following 34 years of administration and furthermore worked for the State of IL, EPA, for a long time. He was an individual from the Elks Lodge #158 and was an IL Bell Telephone Pioneer. Charles invested his free energy playing b-ball, golf, and formal dancing with his better half.
He was gone before in death by his newborn child, Charles G. Martin; guardians; sister, Mary S. Martin; and niece, Maria Peters.
He is made due by his better half, Mary Rose Martin of Springfield; youngsters, Therese M. Martin, John R. Martin, and James R. (spouse, Lindsay) Martin, all of Springfield; six grandkids, Nicholas and Lyndi Saccaro, and Walker, Wyatt, Wade, and Lexington Martin; four kin, John W. Martin of Buffalo, NY, Lila Martin of Springfield, Elizabeth (spouse, Merle) King of Springfield, and Patricia Martin of Springfield; two nephews, Charles R. Ruler and Charles F. Martin; niece, Constance Menegaux; and a few extraordinary nieces and nephews.
Memorial service Mass: 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Church of the Little Flower, 800 Adlai Stevenson Dr., Springfield with Rev. Allen Kemme, celebrant. Entombment will follow at Rochester Township Cemetery.
