Grand Island Train Accident | Has Died: Grand Island Train Accident Stupendous Island Police have recognized the person who kicked the can in a train-walker incident on Wednesday. Administrator Jim Duering said the setback was Daniel Anderson, 28, of Kearney. Police had at first said the person who passed on was in his 40s, but have since revived the information.
Police said Anderson was endeavoring to get around an ended Union Pacific train when it started moving.
GIPD said analysts are at this point endeavoring to choose if the man had attempted to crawl under the train vehicle or move in the vehicles. This happened on the railroad tracks arranged on South Front and Broadwell Avenue around 11:45 a.m.
Police acknowledge this was a setback.
The setback incited different railroad crossing points in midtown Grand Island to be closed as experts research.
